Your story, [sharpened].

Storylode uses AI to read your essays, CV and recommender briefs the way the admissions committee will, shows you what to fix, and suggests concrete edits. You stay the author. Every change is yours to accept or reject.

Your story, your words

Storylode never writes your essay.

Schools care about authenticity, and so do we. Storylode critiques, asks questions and suggests small edits. It never drafts an essay from scratch and never changes your text on its own.

AI, not a person

Language models review your work against each school's published criteria. No human consultant reads it. AI can be wrong, so treat each review as a second opinion.

Reads like the committee

Feedback against each school's own criteria, such as Tuck's "Aware" or Harvard's "Growth-Oriented".

Sees the whole application

Essays, CV, recommender memos and transcripts checked for one consistent story.

There when you write

Feedback in minutes, at any hour. Even at 11 pm the night before a deadline.

How Storylode compares

Good feedback shouldn't cost
thousands per school.

Consultants charge several thousand dollars per school and take days per round. Most applicants go without.

Questions applicants ask

Is using Storylode allowed by business schools?

Policies differ by school and cycle. Storylode gives feedback and never writes your essay, like a consultant or a friend who reads your draft. Check each school's current policy on AI before you apply.

Is Storylode AI or a person?

AI. Language models review your work against each school's published criteria and current prompts. No human consultant reads it. AI can be wrong, so treat each review as a second opinion and check the facts yourself. Every AI review runs with zero data retention.

Does Storylode write my essays?

No. It rates, flags and suggests small edits to what you wrote. You accept or reject every change.

What else can it check besides essays?

Your Story bank, CV, recommender memos, short answers and optional essays. It also reads transcripts to check that your essays quote the right facts, and prepares notes for video prompts.

I already work with a consultant. Can I still use Storylode?

Yes. Storylode gives you a second read between your consultant's rounds. When your consultant returns a Word file, accept or reject their tracked changes in Word first, then import the file into the essay. Storylode reads the text you kept. It does not read Word comments.

Does Storylode apply for me or guarantee admission?

No. You submit your application on each school's own site. Storylode cannot guarantee admission. The school decides.

Which schools are covered?

Berkeley Haas, Cambridge Judge, Chicago Booth, Columbia Business School, Cornell Johnson, Dartmouth Tuck, Duke Fuqua, Harvard Business School, INSEAD, London Business School, Michigan Ross, MIT Sloan, Northwestern Kellogg, NYU Stern, Oxford Saïd, Stanford GSB, UCLA Anderson, UPenn Wharton, UVA Darden, Yale SOM. More schools follow.

What happens to my stories and drafts?

They are used only to review your application. Every AI review runs with zero data retention: the AI providers keep no copy and do not train on your text. We never sell your work, show ads or use it to train AI models. You can delete your account and all your data at any time.

What does a pass cost, and can I get a refund?

You pay once per application cycle, from 59 USD. There is no subscription. Not for you? Ask for a full refund within 7 days of buying, if you have used at most 2 reviews of your pass. The full rules are in the Terms.
